Hello to all,

As SB Chamber President Steve Cushman says, "Business is great in Santa Barbara and Santa Barbara is great for business".  This statement embodies what the MOBE is all about and why we created it: to facilitate business opportunities with other Chamber members and networking within in our community to keep our local economy strong. 

In tough economic times we all look for ways to increase business so we urge you to take advantage of the SB Chamber MOBE in the following ways:  spend a few minutes each day and introduce yourself to someone new, post a blog relating to your particular industry or expertise, share an interesting, business-related video from YouTube, let everyone know if you are HIRING.

There are many amazing people in Santa Barbra that are currently looking for both full-time and part-time work.  As any business owner will tell you, loyal, qualified employees are the most precious resource and what better way to find employees than to reach out to fellow SB Chamber members.  

Let's make a conscious effort to keep our talented people in Santa Barbara.  Please post a blog if your company is hiring or if you know of companies that are hiring.  It only takes a few seconds to post and it could make the world of difference for a local business and a local job seeker.
