The Central Coast Vineyard Team (CCVT) is a non-profit wine grape growers association dedicated to sustainable winegrowing for 15 years. CCVT is a network of 300 local growers working on resource conservation.

What makes your company unique?

In 2008, CCVT launched the Sustainability in Practice (SIP)™ Certification program. This comprehensive program requires that growers protect and conserve environmental resources, treat their employees well, and have sound business practices. There are currently 11,000 SIP™ Certified acres and 50,000 cases of wine bearing the SIP™ Seal. Most recently, we won the U.S. EPA's Sustained Excellence in Integrated Pest Management Award, the Central Coast Magazine Green Award, and the 2008 Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program Champion.
