Founders and creative directors Alex Spurkel and Avi Sills (artists themselves) always work closely with end-clients and event planners to provide easy solutions for hard-to-find, quality Eastern or Western entertainment. We pride ourselves on being easy to work with and will handle all of your entertainment logistics so you don’t have to, both onsite and in preproduction. Our mission is to make sure you get the most successful, impactful, and memorable entertainment for your event.

What else might people want to know about your business?

Transglobal Entertainment began in Los Angeles in 2003 when World music producers Avi Sills and Alex Spurkel had a vision of uniting people around the globe with multi-cultural music and dance. Inspired by their work on their internationally released CD Frequency, Alex and Avi set out to bring their music to others.

The company was originally based around Avi and Alex’s World electronica band Naked Rhythm and it’s all-acoustic World-fusion offshoot the World Orchestra. Their flagship show (to this day), the One World Experience, combines the two bands and adds belly, samba, and Indian dancers along with fire spinners, a live VJ and DJ. Having presented this show for prestigious clients such as Sting and Guess?, word of this captivating and unique act spread and the company quickly grew to include a host of other bands and dancers from many traditions around the World, including popular Western styles.

As active musicians themselves, Alex and Avi have over many years cultivated an invaluable network of top-notch musicians and performers in Los Angeles—home to some of the greatest musicians in the World. It is via these personal connections and our musical expertise that Transglobal Entertainment has been able to assemble such a unique roster of amazing hand-picked bands and artists, and present them all to you.
